Sheriff
Damn shame. Without hearing about him for awhile I was hoping something would work out for the best.

Sheriff
He was dead when they took him hostage. He just didn't know it yet.

I'm sure it will be a somber day in the area.
Again, my condolences go out to the Maupins, their family and friends.

Not completely confirmed yet, but here's the story.

I live in an area pretty close to where he's from and there have been signs and ribbons all over the place. I don't know his family, but if the story is true I extend my condolences to them, their family and friends.
